Sunshine Wall at Frenchman Coulee

March 17, 2002

Michael, Dan, and I spent the day climbing at Frenchman Coulee. Arrving aroung 8:30am in the cool morning air, we "warmed" up on Twin Cracks, a great 5.8 climb. Michael did a great job of leading this one with frozen hands. The weather eventually warmed up and we climbed other fun routes such as Air Guitar (5.10a), Crossing the Threshold (5.8), Pony Keg (5.10a), and Whipsaw (5.9). But it's never a complete day at Vantage without climbing some obscure, chossy climb with Michael, so he talked me into the first pitch of Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town. Michael led the second pitch which topped out on the mesa. Fun!

Michael has his trip report here.
