Ice I Field Trip

Nisqually Glacier

August 11-12, 2001

Here are some photos of an Ice field trip that was part of a climbing course I'm taking. The class hiked onto the Nisqually Glacier in Mt Rainier National Park and practiced various skills such as French Technique (flat footing with crampons), setting up belays with ice screws, and climbing vertical ice.
