Princely Ambitions (5.10a) Lower Wall Index, WA April 2, 2004

For my first Dawn Patrol of the year, Michael and I drove out to Index early in the morning and climbed Princely Ambitions, an exciting 2 pitch face, crack, traverse climb on the Lower Wall at Index. Michael had twice lead the more difficult first pitch (5.10a) before, so we agreed that he should lead it a third time and I would take the easier second pitch (5.8). Index is one of those places that impressed me when I first started climbing so I've always carried this idea that Index is hard (besides Great Northern Slab). And I still agree with that!
