Mountaineering, a ski tour, and some sport climbing

The Tooth (attempt)

May 1, 2008

Andrew and I set off to ski in to the Tooth at Snoqualmie Pass and climb the South Face in winter conditions. A foot of new snow made things a little more sketchy than we had bargained for. We ended up skinning up to below Pineapple Pass, then wallowing in deep snow up to pass, which took a lot of work.

Once at the pass we dropped down the other side until we saw that the warm temps were making everything slide, so we rapped down to our skis, made some nice turns back down the valley and had a cheeseburger at Scott's Dairy Freeze in North Bend.

It was now a beautiful day so we drove up to Marymoor Park and climbed cardinal routes, finishing with the always challenging North Face.

Thanks Andrew for a fun day of skiing and climbing!
