For sometime now the grass from our front lawn has been creeping into our neighbor's flower beds, so we bought a load of bricks and put in a new lawn barrier. Since we are going for a cottage garden style front yard, the lawn doesn't play a large role, so we are going to remove most of it and extend the beds from the top of our rockery and plant some anchor shrubs and trees.

Yesterday and today I removed sod, sifted dirt, installed the lawn barrier, and prepared the beds with compost. This afternoon and evening Kim designed, planted and mulched the beds.
