Whoa, these photos are really old! They were taken on the balcony of our apartment on Madison. I consider these to be during the nascent year of my gardening passion: spring and summer of 2000. Here it is, now the spring of 2004, and I finally have some new photos to post. Some have been posted on the house website, I think. (Thanks to everyone who was patient.) In the last 4 years, what I used to call "my" garden and "my" flowers has happily become "ours". After going to the Flower and Garden Show for the last 3 years with me, taking a bonsai class on his own, and watching me putter around with dirt and little plants for hours, Peter has taken gardening up as his hobby as well. Not only does he create bonsai trees which are far more lovely than mine, you should see him wield a mattock to put in new flowerbeds!
